There are 2 new Japanese restaurants in Montclair, one located at Watchung Plaza, ( where the silver store used to be) tables for outdoor dining too - and one on Bloomfield Avenue, Opp.the Social Security office - that is beautiful inside - Japanese shushi and sashimi, but the roast duck I had there the other night was great!
Cafe Bon Jour Montclair on Park Street, has great crepes, and sandwiches and latte and croissants etc.
out door dining there too! New too is Table 8, next to the Office on Bloomfield Ave. Beautiful, and I didnt need a pillow - the entire place is beautiful and the food great!
